Adult Study and Sacramental Preparation

Our programs and offerings are diverse. There are two adult education opportunities that alternate from Sunday to Sunday, following coffee hour, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, between an hour of Bible Study and an hour of theological reflection.

Current Adult Education Topics:
The Bible Study focuses on the Parables of Jesus. The theological reflection is a study of the insights advanced in Fleming Rutledge’s work “The Crucifixion”. The focus of the latter is the Reality of Human Suffering and the Mystery of God.

Sacramental Preparation:
Inquirer’s classes are available for those who are seeking baptism and those desiring to formalize their relationship with the Episcopal Church. Couples are prepared for reception of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony and parents are prepared to have their children baptized.
